Big fish contest | myopusradio.com

Your music is like going on a endless drive at night with traffic lights spilling on your face, getting you soaked till you become speechless. - Aarti Shinde

hey guys dunno if this will work for the contest or not but i have been writing about the images their music churns. track by track. either way do have a look. :) http://tracktrack.tumblr.com/ - Very Loony Bird

Sulk Station is my best discovery in the 2012 so far. Loop listening, deep emotions, drowning in the sound. Here’s my visual impression of the sound. (INCLUDES ART) - Amila Hrustic

Hello hello, Feel the oozing hormones cruise along your music? (INCLUDES ART) - Shreyansh Chauhan

If you happen to be walking down a darkly-lit alley, and the blackened skies aren’t helping you with your lack of protection from the weather, then Sulk Station is what invokes the transcendent rain, both inside your head and outside. And until you’re out of that alley, you know of nothing but the depths of sorrow and melancholy that you’ve just experienced. - Anirudh Tagat

Title : Heart pumps battery acid. Sulk Station’s music makes my heart quiver and surge in the most peculiar but glorious way. It makes me wonder if my blood turns to battery acid. (INCLUDES ART) - Priyanka Kumble

Here’s my entry (high resolution). Medium used is watercolours and pen on paper. The element which comes to my mind when i listen to Sulk Station is the night, hence the starry night sky. Also bindya is one of my favorite tracts from the album so I’ve interpreted that in the artwork as well. (INCLUDES ART) - Aarti Shinde.

I still remember their gig in unwind a couple of years back, never got to see them live again. Would love to. Sulk station loves both the sober and the intoxicated. The sober and intoxicated love Sulk station. (INCLUDES ART) - Nikhil Acquilla. thank you all : ))

adrcc2:

this is gorgeous.

one advice guys: never let go of the hindi lyrics in your coming albums (i hope there are many to come). that’s what sets you apart in triphop / postdubstep land.

adrcc2:

Rahul Giri and Tanvi Rao. remember these names. from Bangalore, India, these two have been spent too much time listening to Massive Attack and Portishead. plus their recent mixtape for Wild City comprises some of my best: James Blake, Radiohead, King Creosote & Jon Hopkins…

then came that tweet last week from Mr. Rahman himself; that’s how i found Sulk Station.

so Rahul Giri & Tanvi Rao make this duo trip-hop duo called Sulk Station, bringing a sound that i’d never have expected to come out of India.

bindiya in particularly steps out of the lot…for the vocals, for the minimalist use of ghoongroos, the progressive buildup, and its sheer capacity to keep me in a contemplative state.

India suddenly seems like the place to be for fresh indie music.

listen and buy: bandcamp / spotify / soundcloud.

princesszanz:

with fear every step I would take

now nothing, nothing, nothing, can keep me here

its a mistake that I won’t make

fighting a battle that I wouldn’t dare to win

A wreck without you

I hate to admit

upset without you

its hard to admit

if I laid down my pride tonight

would you come?
